Stanfords has joined forces with GroundSure to supply a range of Environmental reports specifically aimed at our Business Mapping customers. We believe this new offering compliments and enhances our core planning map services to both Land & Property professionals and homeowners alike.
At this stage we have decided to offer 5 quite different reports in order to cater for those customers who want a brief, inexpensive summary as well as those who want a full and detailed analysis. The reports can be used independently or as part of a broader report such as the recently introduced Home Information Packs (HIPS):
The GroundSure FloodRisk is a succinct and concise residential flood report for inclusion in a Home Information Pack or as a stand alone flood report for homebuyers or property professionals. This report offers access to flood consultants and clear signposting of a property’s flood risk and insurability verdict- offering genuine value, protection and assistance to the consumer.
Based on superior unparalleled data, which has risk ranked individual properties rather then the postcode, this report evaluates the risk assessment for river and coastal flooding. The risk is displayed using a flood table, which is colour coded, for clear signposting of the property’s flood risk.
GroundSure Flood is the most superior and advanced property specific flood hazard report in the market – the only report of its kind to be backed by direct access to Flood Consultants – offering genuine value, protection and assistance to the consumer. It is primarily designed for the residential property market offering a screening assessment of surface water and groundwater flood risk. A report of this sort reduces the number of properties at ‘actual’ risk by presenting a more robust solution with flood risk experts providing both an overview and guidance, as well as access to independent Flood Consultants.
With surface water flood risk mapping, provided by the Environment Agency, now
enhanced by Norwich Union’s unparalleled data and insurability verdict, no other report offers such breadth and depth.
A risk screening report designed to provide a cost-effective overview on the potential for ground instability due to natural hazards or previous mineral extraction in the vicinity of the property. The report looks primarily at historical and contemporary information using data sets unique to GroundSure.
This report provides a cost effective assessment that for the first time, details a site’s geohazards and ground stability. It is based on the British Geological Survey’s 1:50,000 mapping, GeoSure data and GroundSure’s unique datasets.
The report comprises the following data overlaid on current maps:
For sites larger than 10 ha our Service Centre will produce a user-defined quote.
GroundSure MapInsight contains the most comprehensive collection of Ordnance Survey National Grid, County Series and Historical Town Plan mapping at 1:10,000, 1:10,560, 1:2,500, 1:1250, 1:1056 and 1:528 scales.
These maps were scanned at 508dpi, representing a step change in quality, with double the resolution of the current market offering. With such a high level of quality and accuracy, you can see the GroundSure difference at a glance. Features jump off the page, the assimilation of information is more immediate and the subsequent analysis is easier, faster and more accurate. GroundSure supplies all Ordnance Survey mapping dates including published, survey, revision and copyright (where available). This provides a more accurate map sheet match using the closest dates available, indicating any changes that may have taken place on a site.
The maps are site centred and orientated to the National Grid delivering a clearer and truer picture of the historical character of a site. Each map is also individually geo-referenced, ensuring that deviation from the actual position on the ground is minimised.
For areas larger than the standard sizes our Service Centre will provide a user-defined quote.
The maps and data reports are delivered as PDF’s and will either be emailed or delivered via a secure download facility depending on file size. Delivery will usually be within 2 working days from the time of order confirmation.
All enquiries and orders should be made through our Service Centre.
