Height Data - Digital Terrain Data (5m)

Stanfords Portal Log In Page

5m Digital Terrain Data is produced from aerial photography in the form of a regular grid of points at 5m intervals with +/- 1.5m vertical accuracy. Each point has X, Y, and Z coordinates in British National Grid represented as 6 + 2 digits.

The theoretical positioning precision is 0.01m. The full advantage of the 5m height data can be seen when mixed with different sorts of data covering the same area, for instance:

  • Ordnance Survey Siteplan DXF
  • Lidar DTM 1/2m data
  • Lidar DSM 1/2m data
  • Aerial Photography (pixel size 25 or 12.5cm)


Prices start at just £4.70 + vat for a 220 metres x 220 metres area.

To view dxf samples customers must have a version of CAD/Microstation/Vectorworks e.t.c.
